Welcome to the Macromedia xRes™ S.E. Image Partners Folder!
Included you will find over 100 Mb of stock photos, backgrounds and textures in the Macromedia xRes native LRG file format! These files range in size from 30 MB down to 100K and have been provided to us by our Image Partners for you to quickly see the advantages of xRes technology.
For example, try opening the stunning 30 Mb antique map provided by Visual Language™. Or composite some of the masked objects from Classic Photographic Image Objects™ with a hi-res background from Xaos Tools™ or Texture Farm™. Then take a look at the cutting edge photographs of graffiti artwork provided by Digital Stock Corporation™ or the selection of photographs from Digital Artist's Group ImageKit™.
These images have been converted into the Macromedia xRes native LRG format. Our Image Partners provide images on CD-ROM in a variety of formats such as compressed JPEG, TIFF, or PICT. However, we've converted them to the LRG format so you can see the advantage of working with large high resolution files with xRes.
Here are some suggestions for you to try out:
1. Open the 30Mb VOHJ1695.LRG from the Visual Language folder and zoom to see the high quality, high resolution scan of a beautiful antique map.
2. Open CLOCK02FH.LRG from the Classic PIO™ folder to see how an hi-resolution object with a built-in alpha channel can be used for quick and easy compositing.
3. Open BRAMBLE.LRG in the Xaos Tools™ folder and check out the beautiful high resolution backgrounds created by Fresco™.
4. Open up B51.LRG in the Digital Stock™ folder to see a cutting edge image from their forthcoming disc of graffiti art from D&A.
5. Open 10-MSC-120.LRG in the the ImageKit™ folder and to see an amazing high resolution background.
In each folder, Macromedia has provided information for each one of our Image Partners. If you are interested in learning more about these vendors of high quality, high resolution photography on CD-ROM, please take a look at these files. These images have been provided under the terms of the Macromedia License Agreement enclosed with your packaging.
